Stanley Black is an American real estate investor and philanthropist from Beverly Hills, California. He is the Founder and Chairman of the Black Equities Group. Through his company, he is the owner of 18 million square feet of commercial real estate in 35 states. He is a large supporter of Jewish charities and the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
The nonprofit Los Angeles Jewish Home is one of the leading senior healthcare systems in America, serving 6,000 seniors every year. JHA’s mission is to deliver “excellence in senior care reflective of Jewish values.”
JHA serves seniors through in-home and community health programs, including Brandman Centers for Senior Care, a Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE); Skirball Hospice; the Jewish Home Center for Palliative Medicine; the Care Transitions program; and their home health agency, Jewish Home Care Services.
As the largest single-source provider of senior housing in Los Angeles, JHA is home to more than 1,000 women and men who live on their campuses in the San Fernando Valley. Their newest campus — in Playa Vista on the Westside of Los Angeles — opened earlier this year. Options for Home residents include independent living, residential and assisted living care, skilled nursing care, acute psychiatric care, Alzheimer’s disease and dementia care, palliative care, and compassionate end-of-life care.
