Anthony Behar is a seasoned commercial real estate professional with over two decades of experience at Major Properties. Since joining the firm in 2002, he has been a driving force in the Los Angeles commercial and industrial real estate market. In 2017, Anthony was promoted to Executive Vice President/Partner, recognizing his leadership, expertise, and consistent top-tier performance.

Anthony specializes in the sales, acquisitions, and leasing of commercial and industrial properties throughout Downtown and greater Los Angeles. With a strong client base and extensive market knowledge, he successfully matches property owners with quality tenants and buyers, helping to maximize their investments. Over the years, he has sold or leased millions of square feet of space, earning accolades such as Major Properties’ President’s Award (2005, 2010) and Salesman of the Year (2007, 2009, 2014, 2015).

Anthony is also the host of the Los Angeles-based podcast, Behar On The Block, where he interviews influential figures shaping the city’s landscape. His industry thought leadership extends to Forbes Business Council contributions, and he was named to the Top 101 Commercial Real Estate Influencers on LinkedIn in 2021, 2022, and 2023.

A licensed California real estate agent, Anthony holds a B.S. in Speech Communication from San Diego State University. Before real estate, he built a successful career in media sales.

Deeply committed to philanthropy, Anthony is a past president and serves on the Board of Directors for the Guardians of Los Angeles Jewish Health and is a cabinet member of the Real Estate and Construction Division for the Los Angeles Jewish Federation. He resides in Encino with his wife and two children.
